This Verification Policy explains the steps and standards we use to verify every agent on our platform.

1. Purpose of Verification

Verification ensures that:

  • Agents are legitimate businesses or professionals
  • Users are protected from fraud and fake agents
  • Only high-quality service providers appear on the platform
  • The exclusive directory remains trustworthy

2. Who MUST Be Verified

All agents in the following categories:

  • Real Estate
  • Travel & Tours
  • Shipping & Logistics
  • Business Consultants

Verification is mandatory before a listing goes live.

3. Information We Require for Verification

Depending on the category, we may request:

A. Identity Documents

  • Ghana Card
  • Passport
  • Proof of address (optional)

B. Business Documents

  • Business registration (e.g., Registrar General)
  • Tax Identification (TIN)
  • Industry licence (if applicable)
  • Company profile

C. Service Evidence

  • Website or social media page
  • Photos of office or work
  • Reviews or client references
  • Proof of previous service (optional)

D. Contact Verification

  • Phone number confirmation
  • Email confirmation
  • WhatsApp business profile

4. Verification Steps

  1. Agent submits application
  2. AgentHub reviews documents
  3. We perform background checks
  4. We confirm business existence
  5. Directory team curates the listing
  6. Agent receives “Verified” status once approved

5. Re-Verification

We may request fresh documentation:

  • During renewal
  • After complaints
  • If business details change
  • Random quality checks

6. Reasons for Rejection

An application may be rejected if:

  • Documents are fake or unclear
  • Identity cannot be confirmed
  • Service reputation is inconsistent
  • Business appears inactive
  • Applicant refuses to provide required information

Rejection decisions are final.

7. Loss of Verification

Verification may be revoked if:

  • The agent violates our Terms
  • Complaints show repeated misconduct
  • Fake information is discovered
  • Business operations become questionable
  • Payment is not renewed
